Ted Pollock

Financial Services Representative | CLU®, ChFC®, CASL®

Ted Pollock sees financial advising is an act of mentorship, walking alongside clients to help them overcome obstacles. And in his 50+ years of experience—with some of the same clients the entire time—he’s done a lot of mentoring.

Ted’s passion for finance was kindled by his brother, who taught him the ropes when Ted was just 22. The duo spent decades working together, hunting, fishing, playing tennis, and winning multiple wristwrestling championships. Ted has sought to reflect that same compassionate guidance in his involvement with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, where he’s had the same little brother since 1975. He also reflects it in his work, showing gentleness and integrity while using expertise in wealth accumulation, distribution, and transfer strategies to serve each client’s best interests. He’s loved seeing these plans unfold and come to fruition, giving clients financial freedom in retirement.

Ted’s long-standing faith underscores not just the integrity of his work, but his familial relationships too. He’s married with two children, three grandchildren, and a Golden Retriever named Luke, and seeing them each week—or taking everyone up to their cabin in Lake Tahoe—brings him great joy. He also loves waterskiing, snow skiing, fly fishing, tennis, softball, and theatre.

After earning an Economics degree from the University of San Francisco, Ted went on to get his CLU®, ChFC®, and CASL® certifications. He became an inductee into the New England Financial Hall of Fame in 2010. Even after 50+ years, he’s still excited every time he can help achieve a client’s goals, no matter where they are in life.
