Jimmy Diehl

Financial Planner I AIF®, RICP®, CFBS®, CLTC®, ABFP™, MBA

Jimmy Diehl has always loved ventures that allow creativity within the rules—like nailing a blues-rock riff on his Gibson Les Paul, or leading a fast break in a game of pickup basketball. That’s why for a decade-plus, he’s leveraged an array of expertise, a love of learning, and a passion for people to help clients find creative solutions to their financial puzzles.

In 2010, Jimmy was climbing the corporate ladder at Walgreens and a career in financial planning wasn’t on his radar. Yet when his team members started asking about retirement plans and investments, he discovered a desire to learn more—and to help people take on new and unforeseen challenges. He has a special love for helping clients enjoy their wealth throughout retirement, and uses his Accredited Behavioral Finance Professional certification to recognize the psychology that underpins financial decision-making.

Catch Jimmy on Zoom and you’ll get to revel in his wall of guitars. He’s been playing since age 13, and now often performs for his music-loving daughter. He and his wife have two dogs—an adopted Rottweiler and a Black Lab—and they dream of someday owning a dog rescue ranch. He plays basketball in weekly pickup runs and men’s leagues, and occasionally golfs as well.

Jimmy holds degrees in Finance and Marketing from Arizona State University. His unquenchable thirst for knowledge has also led to an MBA and the following designations: CFBS, RICP®, AIF®, CLTC®, and BFA—inspiring the running joke that he wants to collect them all. But really, he pursues each one so he’ll be well-equipped to address the diverse needs of his clients as he guides them toward wealth and well-being.
